Affiliate Program Terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Vertical Global Limited ("Vertlio", "we") about the Vertlio Affiliate Program ("Refer & Earn"). They apply in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You must agree to them before you receive a referral link.

1. Who can join

Anyone with a Vertlio account in good standing can join, on the Free or a paid plan. We may decline or end anyone's participation, for example for breaking these terms.

2. Referrals

• Your referral link is vertlio.com/?ref=your-code. When someone opens it, we remember it on their browser for 60 days.
• If they create a new Vertlio account in that time, they become your referral. The first link they opened counts; a person can only ever be referred once.
• Existing Vertlio users, and people who sign up without your link, can't be added as your referrals later.
• Only payments for Solo Pro or Creator Pro count. Free trials are not payments.

3. Free Solo Pro for Free users

• If you're on the Free plan, the first payment of each of your referrals counts toward your reward. When 3 of your referrals have paid, your account gets Solo Pro, whatever plans they chose:

• The reward is given once per account. The 3 referrals that earned it don't earn cash commission, now or later.
• The reward is free time on Vertlio, not money, and can't be exchanged for cash.

4. Cash commission for Pro users

• While your account is on a paid plan (including the free Solo Pro reward, but not a free trial), you earn 25% of each payment made by your referrals, other than the ones counted for your reward.
• You earn on a referral's payments for 12 months from their first payment.
• You only earn on payments made while you're on Pro. If your plan expires, payments made before you renew don't earn commission.
• Commission is calculated on the amount we actually receive in Nigerian Naira, before any refund or chargeback.

5. Holding period and payouts

• Each commission is pending for 30 days after the payment, to allow for refunds and disputes, and then becomes available.
• When your available balance is ₦5,000 or more, you can request a payout from Refer & Earn. You can have one request open at a time.
• We review requests and pay them manually, usually within 14 days, by bank transfer in Nigeria or by PayPal or Wise elsewhere, in Naira or the equivalent at the day's rate. Transfer fees charged by your bank or payment service are yours.
• Make sure your payout details are correct. We aren't responsible for money sent to details you gave us.
• If a payment is refunded or disputed, its commission is cancelled; if it was already paid out, we may deduct it from future earnings.

6. What's not allowed

• Referring yourself, including through other accounts, other people's details, or paying for your referrals with your own card.
• Fake, automated or incentivised sign-ups (for example paying people to sign up).
• Spam: unsolicited bulk messages, emails or posts in groups where they aren't allowed.
• Misleading claims about Vertlio, its prices or features, or pretending to be Vertlio or to speak for us.
• Paid search ads on "Vertlio" or similar terms, or domains and social accounts that use the Vertlio name.
• Sharing your link on sites with illegal, hateful or adult content.

If we reasonably believe these rules were broken, we may cancel the related commissions and rewards, hold payouts while we investigate, and suspend or remove your affiliate account.

7. Taxes and your status

You're responsible for any taxes on what you earn. You're an independent participant: the program doesn't make you an employee, agent or partner of Vertlio.

8. Your data and your referrals' privacy

We store your payout details and your program activity to run the program. You see only limited information about the people you referred (their first name and the initial of their last name, when they joined and whether they've paid), never their email or other details. See our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes and ending the program

We may change these terms, the rates or the rewards, or end the program, with at least 14 days' notice by email or in your dashboard. Changes never reduce commissions you've already earned. If the terms change, you'll be asked to agree to the new version to keep taking part. If the program ends, available balances above the payout threshold will still be paid.
